As Africa lifts her voice for Peace; we, as PROCMURA and individuals, are standing for Peace in the various nations across our beautiful continent. We call on all Faith Actors and other stakeholders throughout the continent to stand for Peace, for only peace can bring us sustainable development.
Every year, we observe International Day of Peace Day to reflect on all efforts towards transforming a conflict-habituated system into a peace system where people live peaceably with one another irrespective of their differences. Peace is priceless.
In the heart of Africa, where diverse cultures and religions intertwine, we find a profound opportunity for unity and peace. As we celebrate peace this season, it is good to remind ourselves that Islam and Christianity, two of the continent's major faiths, share core principles that advocate for love, compassion, and respect for one another.
On this year's international Day of Peace, themed "Cultivating the Culture of Peace," we are reminded of our collective responsibility to nurture peace in every corner of our world.
