PROCMURA through the establishment of “PROCMURA Chapters” in learning institutions is able to address the rise of religious intolerance among youth in institutions. Also, the challenge of religious intolerance is addressed through youth diapraxis activities at community levels. The programme also provides skills development for the youth around the continent.
The Youth Programme being an inter-Christian and Muslim Youth Programme, adopts the Vision of Agenda 2030 requiring partnerships between the youth and stakeholders in addressing challenges that young people face and ensuring that they are not only included in the decision making table but their contributions are also recognized. The programme also brings together young Christians and Muslims to address issues of common concerns to the youth in two main levels:
- Level 1: Religious tolerance; through the PROCMURA Chapters in learning institutions and through youth diapraxis activities at community level
- Level 2: Skills development and empowerment; through providing vocational skills for the youth
