Joshua Muthoka, a representative of the Mombasa County Commissioner Mohamed Noor Hassan, lauded PROCMURA for the great work it has been doing in making sure that there exist peace and peaceful coexistence between people of different religions, more particularly between Christians and Muslims. He expressed the government’s commitment to support PROCMURA’s work in the coastal region of Kenya which has experienced its own fair share of the effects of radicalization and violent extremism.
