PROCMURA’s overall goal as stated in the manual of order is “To see an African continent where Christians and Muslims uphold the principles of religious freedom and all that it entails”.

This year and subsequent years, PROCMURA has decided to initiate programmes that will enable it to eventually achieve its overall goal. As a result of this, continental, regional, countries and grassroots level programmes have been planned for this year and subsequent years. 

In line with this, PROCMURA is organizing a continental Training of Trainers conference on Freedom of Religion and Belief (FoRB) for our constituencies in Africa who are from various backgrounds. The conference is scheduled to take place in June 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya.

The training will be of unique significance reflecting on the peculiar situation of Africa on matters relating to religious freedom and belief and yet taking cognisance of others and what happens in other parts of the world.

The Danish Mission Council Development Department (DMCDD) will fully support this initiative alongside other PROCMURA partners from Denmark, Danmission and Mission Afrika who also have a significant role in the implementation of the project.
