The Peace Actors workshop will focus on Conflict Prevention/Management, Peacebuilding, and Reconciliation as thematic areas. It will specifically bring together peace actors working on peacebuilding in Kenya and other PROCMURA constituencies across the African continent to share experiences, best practices, and contextual strategies in peacebuilding.

The forum will purpose to delve into the discourse of the world peace and how the same impacts the continent of Africa zeroing down to Kenya and the Kenyan Coast. The discussion on peacebuilding in the pluralistic African context will be one to look out for and the role therefore of religious leaders in peacebuilding for sustainable development will also be interrogated.

The take away from the peace workshop will be the individual, institutional and collective commitments documented in action plans which PROCMURA and the ACK Diocese Mombasa will follow up in the post General Council period.
