It was a colourful ceremony at the Programme for Christian-Muslim Relations in Africa (PROCMURA) Central Office in Nairobi, Kenya, as PROCMURA’s constituencies and technical staff congregated to launch the PROCMURA’s handbook, apart from engaging in other programmes. The handbook, which is available in both English and French, basically, explains what PROCMURA is and what it stands for.
Rev. Dr. Johnson Mbillah; the then General Adviser of PROCMURA, who is also the PROCMURA consultant, played a significant role in the compilation and editing of the handbook. Dr. Mbillah oriented members of the constituencies on the handbook, with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement, expressing satisfaction and gratitude to God for a dream come true, after which he officially presented the book to the PROCMURA executive committee.
The vice chairperson of PROCMURA; Rev. Dr. Nicodeme Alagbada officially launched the handbook. The entire PROCMURA family was happy to receive the long awaited resource book which will help them understand PROCMURA better and effectively communicate the Programme for Christian-Muslim Relations in Africa (PROCMURA) model in their countries of operation.
